Dr. Ellen H. Yankellow, PharmD
President & CEO

Dr. Ellen H. Yankellow, PharmD, is the President and CEO of Correct Rx Pharmacy Services, Inc. and a national leader in the advancement of clinical pharmacy services.

Dr. Yankellow is regarded as one of the leading women pharmacists in the country and an expert in institutional and geriatric pharmacy. She started Correct Rx after a long career as a top executive in the pharmacy services industry. Her business model is based on innovative clinical programs that offer better medical outcomes and result in lower healthcare costs.

Committed to providing the highest quality services, Dr. Yankellow has created a culture of caring that pervades every aspect of her business. “Correct Rx offers a variety of clinical services including managing the selection and quantity of medications, pharmacist-controlled medication therapy and disease state management. Dr. Yankellow’s success is equally matched by her commitment to and passion for community activism and philanthropy. She serves on the boards of numerous nonprofit organizations including Commissioner-Maryland Board of Pharmacy, University of Maryland-School of Pharmacy Board of Visitors, University of Maryland Baltimore Foundation, Inc., Maryland Chamber of Commerce, The Carter Center Board of Trustees, Executive Alliance, Inc., Baltimore City Foundation, Inc., The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Women’s Leadership Council, St. Mary’s Seminary and University, Catholic Community Foundation Board of Trustees, Stevenson University President’s Advisory Council and part of the United Way of Central Maryland Leadership and Philanthropic Network. She also serves on the corporate board of AAA Club Alliance Regional Board.

Dr. Yankellow has also been recognized with numerous awards, including the Bowl of Hygeia Award, one of the most widely recognized international symbols for pharmacy and considered one of the profession’s most prestigious awards. She was recently presented the Alzheimer’s Association Exemplary Leadership Award which recognizes an individual who is a catalyst for growth, a philanthropist who leads by example, and a dedicated leader whose involvement has had a profound effect on the Association’s research efforts.

Other awards include The Children’s Guild Sadie Award, Maryland Chamber of Commerce Business Hall of Fame Inductee, Associated Black Charities Community Impact Award, The Daily Record’s Maryland’s Most Admired CEOs, University of Maryland School of Pharmacy’s Key to Pharmacy Hall, Anne Arundel County and Annapolis Chamber of Commerce’s Business Leader of the Year, The Daily Record’s Influential Marylander, Girl Scouts of Central Maryland Distinguished Women’s Award, Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Maryland Helen C. Schulze Award and Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for health services. She has received three Maryland’s Top 100 Women awards from The Daily Record and has been inducted into its Circle of Excellence. Dr. Yankellow was also inducted into the Chimes Hall of Fame, received the Bravo! Entrepreneur Award from Smart Woman Magazine and was recognized by The Gazette of Politics and Business as one of Maryland’s Top 25 CEO’s You Need to Know.

Dr. Yankellow graduated from the University of Maryland, School of Pharmacy with honors in 1973, and earned her doctorate in pharmacy in 1996.

Jill R. Molofsky, RPh, CCHP
Vice President & Co-Owner

Jill Molofsky, RPh is a 1981 graduate from the University of Maryland – School of Pharmacy and has worked with Ellen Yankellow over the past 30 years. Jill has decades of hands on experience in the management of large institutional/correctional pharmacies. She is intimately knowledgeable concerning the day to day operations of an institutional pharmacy.

Jill is one of the best kept secrets in the industry. Luckily, she is not a secret to Correct Rx’s clients. Jill’s work ethic and expansive correctional experience combined with her specialized knowledge of correctional pharmacy is currently, and will continue to be, invaluable to the clients of Correct Rx.


James P. Tristani, RPh
Vice President of Purchasing & Co-Owner

Jim Tristani, is Vice President of Purchasing and a Co-owner with Ellen and Jill. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy in the same class as Ellen. Jim has been the managing partner of a family owned chain of Pharmacies in Maryland for the past 30 years. Ellen selected Jim to complete her ownership team because of his experience as an entrepreneur which has provided Jim with a good working knowledge of all the administrative function involved in operating pharmacy.

Jim has been able to use his purchasing knowledge combined with Correct Rx alliances and Group Purchasing Organizations to insure that Correct Rx Drug prices are competitive with any Pharmacy in the industry. In addition Jim partners with our Controller Don Bossle on the strategy and preparation of bids for prospective clients and the preparation of bills for current clients.

Jim along with Jill believes deeply in Ellen’s commitment to provide a culture of caring, accuracy and excellence to our clients. He also follows the belief in giving back to his profession and community. For 15 years he served as a Trustee of the State Pharmacy Association, which culminated with his election as President and the Chairman of the Board. Since then he has been involved in many charities and philanthropic causes including the American Heart Association, Fr. Martin’s Ashley, a nationally recognized alcohol and drug abuse recovery center in Maryland. He also has joined with Jamie Kleman, author of the educational children’s book Its Not Mean To Be Green, as Executive Producer to bring a musical play version of the book to fruition. The play is designed to be performed in elementary schools as an ecological primer.


Robert L. Matthews
Vice President of Marketing

Bob has a wealth of experience in both Public and Private Corrections that includes over 28 years in the Federal Bureau of Prisons in positions of increasing responsibility. He has served as Warden at the U.S. Penitentiary Leavenworth, Kansas and at the U.S. Penitentiary Atlanta, Georgia. He was Western and Southeast Regional Director of the Federal Prison System and appointed to Assistant Director of the Program Review Division in Washington, D.C. Bob also was appointed United States Marshal for the District of Columbia where he received the Attorney General’s Award for Distinguished Service.

In the Private Sector, he was Senior Vice President of a Privately held Prison Company in Sarasota, Florida and Vice President of a Security Firm in Vienna, Virginia. More recently he has served as President of his own Correctional Consulting Firm, Matthews Correctional Consulting.

Bob graduated from Florida A&M University with a B.S. in Sociology and a Masters Degree in Criminology from Indiana State University.


Jessica Vaughn, MBA
Vice President of Sales

Jessica Vaughn is the Vice President of Sales for Correct Rx. In this role, she is responsible for structuring the sales organization to strengthen existing relationships and develop new customers. Additionally, she develops strategic plans that effectively represent the customer and Correct Rx’s interests. Jessica has 20 years of sales and sales leadership experience, primarily in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. Before joining Correct RX, Jessica was the Deputy Director Regional Account Manager for Bayer Women’s HealthCare, where she was responsible for the restructuring and coaching and development of the Key Account Management team for the eastern half of the U.S. The Key Account team manages the strategic account planning and contract negotiation for the largest volume accounts nationally and strategic implementation of residency training curriculum in the largest Academic Medical Centers. She started as a sales representative for Bayer in 1999 in NYC and was promoted to a Regional Sales Manager in the Mid-Atlantic Area in 2007. Prior to that, she did B2B sales in NYC area.

Jessica has extensive experience in contract negotiation, strategic thinking, recruiting and hiring, and coaching and developing sales teams. Her commitment to the development of top producers, results orientation and high level of accountability have contributed to success in exceeding revenue forecasts. Jessica’s career has been dedicated to promotion of innovative products and services that make a difference to customers and their patients.

Jessica has been recognized for several national sales and leadership awards including a Platinum Pinnacle Award in 2013 for involvement in Area and National projects, Women’s Healthcare Regional Sales Manager National Leadership Award in 2012, Women’s Healthcare Mid-Atlantic Area Regional Sales Manager Leadership Award in 2012, Special Recognition Award in 2011, Women’s Healthcare Northeast Area Regional Sales Manager Leadership Award in 2009, President’s Circle in 2009, Special Recognition Award in 2009, National Health Alliance Award for efforts in DOD accounts in 2008, President’s Circle 2001, and Achiever’s Club Award in 2000. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology at University at Albany SUNY in Albany, NY, and her MBA from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ.


Martin Yankellow, Esq.
Vice President

Martin L. Yankellow, Jr. is a graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law. In 2006 Mr. Yankellow joined Correct Rx Pharmacy Services, Inc. as the Director of Regulatory Affairs for Correct Rx Pharmacy Services after closing his private practice as a trial attorney in Chicago, Illinois. The Regulatory Affairs Department is charged with monitoring state, federal and regulatory boards throughout the country. Since his arrival he has worked with each level of management, reviewing contracts, developing policies and procedures, orienting and training employees and acting as a clearing house for a multitude of questions and concerns regarding various legal issues. By keeping current on regulations in combination with the clinical, legal and business knowledge possessed throughout our company we are able to present information to managers and supervisors that assures good corporate governance and regulatory compliance. Our efforts have created a complete oversight program that addresses each tier of our corporate structure. Integration has led to improved information sharing, creating a dynamic operational and organizational change.


Don Bossle
Controller

Don is the Correct Rx Controller, and has been with Correct Rx since 2004. He has over 30 years of experience in Accounting and Financial Management. He has worked in manufacturing, distribution, and fabrication industries, always in the for-profit arena. For over 11 years, Don held the position of CFO and Treasurer of Lyon, Conklin & Co., Inc. a privately owned distributor of heating and air conditioning products. Most recently, he was the CFO for Snow Valley, Inc. in Upper Marlboro, Maryland before joining Correct Rx Pharmacy as Controller. Mr. Bossle oversees all financial aspects of Correct Rx’s contracts as well as budgeting, payroll, financial modeling and cash forecasting. Don manages our accounting and billing staff.
